About
You are hiring a person, so here is the person.
JMW-Inc is me — Chris Wyatt. No account managers, no offshore team doing the work behind a brand. If you engage JMW-Inc, I am the one closing your month.
What I do now
I am an Assistant Controller and Revenue Cycle Manager in group-practice healthcare — dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery and surgical centers — working inside a multi-entity structure with a central billing office.
I own the monthly close: bank and credit card reconciliation on control worksheets before anything posts, intercompany, the annual budget and rolling reforecast, and the management reporting that goes to ownership. We close in five business days.
That is not an adjacent skill I am repackaging for consulting. It is the job, and I do it every month.
I keep my employer's name and numbers off this site, and I will keep yours off it too.
Before this
- Payment optimisation, national imaging — led the team covering a nationwide network of diagnostic imaging centers, and built the reporting that went to executive level.
- Assistant Billing Manager, dental billing — managed an offshore billing team and co-managed an in-house billing department for four years.
- Sage 50 → Sage Intacct — led the conversion end to end. Mapped every GL account, coded the import files, migrated years of history, live on schedule.
Seventeen years across billing operations, revenue cycle and controllership, and twelve working with data at scale.
Credentials, stated precisely
What I am, and what I am not.
What I hold
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor
- Working through the CMA (Certified Management Accountant)
- Bachelor's in Finance and Technology, in progress
- Published author — The Numbers Don't Lie
What I am not
- Not a CPA. JMW-Inc is not a CPA firm and does not provide audit, review, compilation or attest services
- Not your tax preparer — that stays with your CPA, and I will work alongside them
- Not a software company. There is no platform; there is me and a defensible process
You will find firms that lead with letters they have and capabilities they do not. I would rather be the opposite — clear about the boundary, and genuinely good inside it.
How I work
- Reconcile before you report. Nothing posts until the control worksheet ties. A report built on an unreconciled account is worse than no report, because people believe it.
- The narrative is part of the deliverable. Numbers without an explanation make owners guess. You get what moved and why, in writing.
- Say the unflattering thing. If a number is bad, or I got something wrong, you hear it from me first and early.
- Document the model. Whatever I build, you own and can read. Nothing I do should be hostage to me still being here.
Where I am
Bensalem, Pennsylvania — Eastern time, full US business-hours overlap. I work with groups across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, and remotely beyond that where the fit is right.
JMW-Inc is the financial operations practice of JMWINC, LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company. It is a separate business from JMWINC Developers, LLC, which builds software.
A new practice, an experienced operator. JMW-Inc is newly formed, so you will not find a wall of client logos here — I am not going to borrow credibility I have not earned. What you can judge me on is the decade of work behind it, and a conversation where you ask me hard questions about your own books.
